Model for sustainable development based on system dynamics and energy–economy–environment coordination: A case study of Beijing, China

In developing countries, the contradiction between environmental protection and economic development has become increasingly serious. The current research focuses on: how to coordinate relationship protection. This study considers energy consumption emission reduction as object. An energy–economy–environment simulation system was developed using Vensim a modeling platform clarify consumption, development, pollution. Based on data gleaned from Beijing's system, availability of model is verified through historical inspection operational tests. Finally, based different scenarios have been set up analyze trends under scenarios. results show that prospects coordinated scenario are most reasonable effective, taking into account all three aspects, especially in terms carbon reduction.
